My Current Team - Tottenham Oct 2009

My Current Team - Tottenham Oct 2009

Continual of recent good form

|

1 Tottenham - Keane
0 Wolves
1-0
league position: 10th

After two draws in a row, we badly needed a win to continue our good form of late. Robbie Keane's goal, against one of his former clubs, gave us an unconvincing victory. The League Cup 4th round is next against Sheff Wednesday.

1 Sheff Wed - Skacel
2 Tottenham - Van Der Vaart (pen), Crouch
AET
1-0, 1-1, 1-2

Rudi Skacel gave Wednesday the lead in the first half. Late in the second half, we were awarded a penalty. Van Der Vaart stepped up to take it and.... MISSED! Even later in the second half, we were awarded another penalty. Van Der Vaart steps up and.... GOAL! 1-1. By this time, I had every forward on the pitch, so after I equalised I reverted back to my normal formation - Pavyluchenko was playing right back! Peter Crouch got the winner in extra time to put us through to the quarter finals, where we will now play Chelsea, away.

i think you better play with 4-1-2-2-1.
it's the best formation especially when playing attacking football.
two wingers flanking a striker, two centre midfielders and a defensive midfielder.
and four defenders, the full back help the wingers to open up play.
but if you want to play defensive, you better not to use this. i prefer using the 4-2-2-1-1 or the usual 4-4-2.
