My Current Team - Tottenham Oct 2009

My Current Team - Tottenham Oct 2009

Next two matches - Chelsea (a) & Everton (a)

|

Ruud Van Nistelrooy starts his first full game partnering Peter Crouch up front against Chelsea. Kyle Naughton continues his run in the side at right back. Chelsea have new signings Iaquinta & Cassano leading the front line.

2 Chelsea - Bale (og), Anelka
2 Tottenham - Modric, Crouch
1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2

We were so close to causing an upset at leaders Chelsea. Nicolas Anelka scoring the equaliser in the 80th minute. I'm delighted with the point though, as we stay in 5th place. Almost an unchanged side for the trip with Everton, the only replacement being Van Der Vaart coming in for Jenas.

0 Everton
2 Tottenham - Van Der Vaart, Crouch

An excellent performance against the team one place below us. Rafael Van Der Vaart scored the first, a drilled freekick (pictured below) and Peter Crouch made the 3 points safe with a header similar to the one he scored in real life the other day! - where it hit the bar and then post.
